What size workbench dog holes are these compatible with?
The HD30-WL02 is precisely engineered for standard 20mm dog holes, making it a perfect fit for the HONGDUI TrueGrid system, Festool MFT/3 tables, UJK parf guide systems, and other custom 20mm matrix workbenches.
What is the purpose of the dual brass wheels on the side?
The dual brass thumbwheels drive a micro-adjustment and locking mechanism. They allow you to fine-tune the exact positioning of your guide rail or fence, and then lock the fence dog rigidly into place against the workbench to eliminate any play or deflection during heavy cuts.
What are the green rubber rings on the post for?
Those are high-friction silicone O-rings. They serve two critical purposes: they ensure a snug, friction-fit inside your 20mm dog holes to prevent wobbling, and they protect the inside walls of your workbench holes from aluminum-to-wood wear and tear.
Can I use these to set up a perfect 90-degree square cutting station?
Absolutely. In fact, that is one of its primary design functions. By placing the pair of HD30-WL02 Fence Dogs into your grid holes, you create a perfectly straight, repeatable reference edge for your fence or guide rail, ensuring absolute squareness for crosscuts or routing.

Standard bench dogs are static pegs used mainly as material stops. The HD30-WL02 is an active positioning and clamping fixture.
