This has a great weight and feel to it. Super adjustable. You set it the way you want it, lock it in, and go to town with no fears of overdoing it. Love the chamfers it makes. Gives a real finished look to all my projects.
This chamfering plane is very well made and heavy. It feel good in you hand and does a fantastic job of laying an even chamfer on all wood types. It does take some adjusting in order to work properly, so you will need to be patient with it. Also, plan on sharpening the blades, as no matter how sharp they look as feel, they will work exponentially better once you take the time to properly sharpen them by hand. Overall, a great addition to the tool box and a fantastically well made tool. Highly recommend.
Love HONGDUI tools you get what you pay for very solidly built works great I saw reviews saying not so great and I believe that's people who don't understand wood grain and wood you are not gonna find a sharper tool and if used right on your project it's awesome the round over on one side and 45 degree on the other is really nice on board extra blade nice mm and inches nice made from a block of billet aluminum sweet heavy in the hand it says nice tool markings are clear I love it
Another high quality tool from Hongdui. I have several of there tools and I love them all. Blades come sharp out of the box, you easy to dial in the depth of cut for accuracy. Way better than using a power router.
