Which table saw fences are compatible with the YL0O8 Stock Guides?
The YL08 is designed to mount directly into standard T-track (approximately 19mm or 3/4 inch wide) on the top of your table saw fence.
Can I use these on a portable or jobsite saw?
Yes, provided your fence has a top-mounted T-slot. If your fence does not have a T-slot, you may need to attach a sacrificial wood fence with an integrated T-track.
Is there a minimum height requirement for the fence?
The guides are adjustable in height, but they work best on fences at least 75mm (3 inches) tall to allow for the vertical adjustment range of the guide arms.
How do these prevent kickback?
The YL08 features one-way roller bearings. The rollers move freely as the wood is pushed forward but lock instantly if the wood attempts to move backward.
Do the rollers leave marks on delicate or finished wood?
The rollers are made of a high-grip, non-marring urethane. They provide significant downward pressure to prevent chatter and lifting without indenting or scratching.
Can I use these for narrow rips?
Yes. Because the guides mount to the fence rather than the table, you can position them to hold down narrow strips.
How much downward pressure should I apply?
You should adjust the guide height so the rollers are compressed slightly (about 2-3mm) when the workpiece passes under them.
Do I need to use both rollers at once?
For the best results and maximum safety, it is recommended to use both. The first roller secures the wood before it reaches the blade.
Are the rollers replaceable?
Yes. If the rollers become worn over time or lose their grip due to extreme dust accumulation, the roller assemblies can be replaced.
How do I clean the rollers to maintain grip?
Over time, fine dust or resin can build up on the urethane. Simply wipe the rollers with a cloth dampened with denatured alcohol or a mild degreaser.
What should I do if the one-way bearing starts to slip?
Ensure no sawdust has entered the internal bearing housing. A quick blast of compressed air usually clears the mechanism.

I have seen JESSEM Clear Cut TS Stock Guides - for Table Saw on YouTube on these big fancy Dan table saws and thought bet they are good to use to stop kickbacks and keeping the timber tight against the fence. Then I saw these HONGDUI ones at about ? the price at around £160. The quality looked about the same i.e.. excellent. I have a Dewalt DW745 table saw and was pretty sure that with a bit of a modification I could get it to fit my fence. A piece of 3 by 2 epoxied to the inside face of the fence and I was ready to fit it, I had to shorten one of the aluminium T Track pieces by about 150mm before **** it to the fence, ensuring they cleared the fence face. These are a few pics of the finished installation...To be fair it works but I have not used it with large pieces of ply but I expect it to assist keeping the timber tight up against the fence. The object of the post is to show with a modification to the fence it will fit a dewalt DW745
Cheaper than Jessem but with same quality. With additional rubber and extendable arm that Jessem doesn't have. Thumbs up for Hongdui Tools!
Love them. High quality! Since they come with two shorter rails instead of one longer one like the other brand, they fit around the center fence mount plate of my Incra LS fence. Although its rail hole pattern is wider than the top of my Incra fence, I found mounting is plenty rigid/stable using just one T-slot. But you can always buy Incras TS Jessem adapter track if you insist on more rigid mounting.
