What is the purpose of the dual brass wheels on the side?
The dual brass thumbwheels drive a micro-adjustment and locking mechanism. They allow you to fine-tune the exact positioning of your guide rail or fence, and then lock the fence dog rigidly into place against the workbench to eliminate any play or deflection during heavy cuts.
What are the green rubber rings on the post for?
